Svilengrad enters the world of gambling
The casino hotel in Svilengrad will have 624 rooms
BULGARIA US investor BC Industries has started contruction work on a casino complex in Svilengrad near the borders with Turkey and Greece in an investment of around EUR 150 mln.

The luxury complex will include a large hotel, games rooms, a spa centre, a swimming pool, two restaurants and shopping areas.The site was bought from the city authorities for around EUR 202,000. The complex will have a total build out area of 61,000 sqm and the hotel, which will be the second largest in the country, will have 624 rooms in two nine-storey buildings and a height of 28m. The main gaming room will have an area of 4,000 sqm, while two smaller VIP rooms will both have areas of 1,000 sqm. The complex will also include a shopping centre built on a 0.8 ha site and two restaurants.
