Skysawa ”the most outstanding in Poland”
The construction work on the office, hotel and retail complex began at the end of June

POLAND Building A of the Skysawa office, retail and hotel complex close to the Rondo ONZ roundabout in central Warsaw has been awarded a BREEAM Interim certificate with a rating of ‘Outstanding’.

According to the investor behind the project, Polski Holding Nieruchomości, this is the highest score yet obtained in Poland and the country’s first BREEAM International 2016 New Construction certificate at this level. Buildings assessed for the BREEAM New Construction certificate are evaluated in ten categories, in which the Skysawa building scored the maximum number of points in three of them – for the location and transport links, water management and the managing of the development process.

“The use of environmentally friendly systems as early as the demolition of the old building on the site, then in the construction and in the building itself, has now received the recognition it deserves. The tenants of our flagship project will be provided with the highest sustainability standards,” insists Tomasz Górnicki, the deputy CEO for investment at Polski Holding Nieruchomości.

Construction work on Skysawa started at the end of June. The 40,000 sqm complex will be situated between ul. Świętokrzyska, ul. Twarda, ul. Mariańska and al. Jana Pawła II.
