Golub GetHouse signs off record plot purchase
This project will set "completely new standards," claims Cezary Jarząbek, the CEO of Golub GetHouse

POLAND Golub GetHouse has finalised the purchase from Atlas Estates of a 0.274 ha plot situated at ul. Grzybowska 59 in Warsaw’s Wola-Centrum neighbourhood.

According to information previously released, the property changed hands for PLN 148 mln plus VAT – or PLN 54,014 PLN (app. EUR 12.362) net per sqm, which is likely to be a record for a Polish development plot.

The company is planning to develop a 160m residential tower offering around 900 apartments for rent on the site next to the Warsaw Hilton hotel. The building will also have a 24-hour residential lobby, a spa centre, a gym, a yoga area, a squash court, a cinema room, a residential lounge, a games room, co-working space, restaurants and other shops and services.

The architectural concept for the building is currently at the final design stage, with the construction work expect to being in late 2020 or early 2021. The LSW Leśnodorski Ślusarek & Partners and BCLA Bisiorek Cieśliński I Wspólnicy law firms advised Golub GetHouse for the purchase of the plot.

Cezary Jarząbek, the founder and CEO of Golub GetHouse, has commented: “A perfectly located plot in the new business centre of Warsaw has been added to our investment portfolio. This transaction is another crucial element of our company’s development strategy, which focuses on our active operation in the sector of modern residential projects with apartments for rent. It is also another confirmation of our strong presence in Warsaw’s Wola district and of our ambitious plans related to this extremely promising part of the capital. It will be the third skyscraper developed by Golub GetHouse at ul. Grzybowska, after the Prime Corporate Center office building and Liberty Tower project with apartments for rent. We are convinced that by taking this bold move and by closing such a record-breaking plot purchase deal we have made an excellent decision, which will result in another project setting completely new standards.”
