The first stage of Osiedle Komedy should be ready in Q2 2021

POLAND Dom Development has started the first stage of the construction of Osiedle Komedy in Wroclaw’s Jagodno district.

The five-stage project will eventually comprise six four-storey buildings with 550 apartments ranging from 28 sqm to 145 sqm. The first stage will have 99 apartments, 117 parking spaces, 37 storage rooms and 17 boxes for bicycles. On the upper floors the apartments will have mezzanines, while two retail/service units will be situated on the ground floor. Common areas will include recreational zones and a playground with an activity path.

The completion of the first stage of the project has been scheduled for the beginning of Q2 2021. Wrocław studio Group-Arch is responsible for the design of the estate, while the general contractor is Dom Construction.

“We are making our contribution to the changes that are taking place in Jagodno,” declared Iwona Kołodziejczyk, the CEO of Dom Development in Wrocław. “Together with the local authorities, we have embarked upon rebuilding of ul. Komedy and the extension of a section of ul. Klasztorna as well as constructing of a walking and cycling path for the future residents of the Komedy estate. The name of the latest project is to commemorate the 50th anniversary this year of the death of the wonderful Polish composer and jazz pianist Krzysztof Komeda. A mural dedicated to the artist’s work is to appear on the façade facing onto ul. Komedy,” she reveals.
