Modern office space a perk in recruitment

Eurobuild CEE 06 November 2019
POLAND Only every fifth company has a strategy that takes account of technological change claims CBRE in its ‘Proptech Index 2019’ report.

According to the report the young want to work in technologically advanced buildings, which means that such properties attract younger employees. According to the research 21 pct of Polish companies consider the technological advancement of their workspaces as being important to their development, 39 pct have yet to develop a coherent concept while 13 pct consider this to be of little importance to their business.

“Deloitte's analysis shows that members of Generation Z are much more pragmatic than Millenials who are looking for experiences. Young people who are accustomed to easy access to all the latest technology will look for the same in their jobs, which is why possessing a modern office is crucial. Our research shows that many companies already recognise that having a technologically advanced office is important in attracting talent,” sums up Krzysztof Mogielski, the director of digital transformation at CBRE.
