Companies like their mod cons
POLAND Around 70 pct of companies plan to invest more in office technology over the next three years, according to the 'EMEA Occupier Survey 2019' report by CBRE.
This is an increase of 8 pp compared to last year. Around 83 pct of companies expect artificial intelligence and robotics to play a more significant role in the workplace. According to the surveys around 30 pct of companies consider technology when they lease an office, which compares to 16 pct in the previous year. The importance of cost has decreased with 86 pct of companies stating it was of key importance compared to 91 pct in the previous year, while fewer companies place as much importance on layout (down to 51 pct from 54 pct in 2018). Fewer companies are concerned about transport links (down from 91 pct to 86 pct). Currently the number of companies that find the labour market challenging has than doubled from 17 pct last year to 34 pct now.
