Santander moves into a glassy joint
Meeting rooms are separated by glass at Santander
POLAND Glass and colour have been used by the Design Group Studio to decorate the offices of Santander Bank Polska (SBP) The office takes up 4,700 sqm on three floors of office building A in CZ Office Park.

Sound-proofed conference rooms are separated by soundproofed glass with curtains in vivid colours that can be drawn for greater privacy. Wooden pillars separate the office section from the meeting area. “This simple solution introduces additional energy and variability to the workplace with one move. Implementing our design was a technological challenge, with pioneering office soundproofing used for the first time in Poland,” says Konrad Krusiewicz, the founder and CEO of The Design Group.

The industrial style of the office is broken up by colour in the conference rooms. The name of each room (Storm, Winter, Sunrise, Night, Autumn, Frost, Fog, Forest, Wind, Amber, Mint, Daybreak and Drizzle) dictates the colour scheme used. “We came up with the idea of arranging an office in an industrial style, hence the installation elements visible under the ceiling and austere aesthetics. However, we wanted to break the monotony by introducing vibrant colours in selected places at the same time,” explains Karolina Kózka from The Design Group, who was responsible for project coordination.
