Rafał Ostrowski has over 17 years’ experience as a journalist. Before joining ‘Eurobuild CEE’ five years ago, he wrote for Wydawnictwo Murator and Shopping Centre Magazine, as well as for retailnet.pl. He has also written for many newspapers and magazines as a freelancer and prepared photo-reportages. Rafał graduated from the University of Warsaw in philosophy. He also completed postgraduate studies in text editing. For ‘Eurobuild CEE’ he covers most real estate sectors, including logistics, construction, office, residential and retail. He is also in charge of the film direction for Eurobuild TV.

Eastnine buys Riga brewery property
The property was sold for around EUR 9.5 mln

LATVIA Swedish real estate company Eastnine has acquired a 4,000 sqm building that belonged to the former Kimmel brewing complex on Krišjāņa Valdemāra street in central Riga together with a 1.15 ha site, for a total transaction price of EUR 9.5 mln.

A total of 34,000 sqm of offices, restaurants or retail could also be built on the site. “With this acquisition we have created an opportunity for Eastnine to grow in the absolute best location in Riga. The land is one of only a few large undeveloped plots in the city centre,” says Eastnine’s CEO, Kęstutis Sasnauskas. Eastnine already owns three otherl properties on the same street.
