The final design for Wilanów Park is to be decided after consultation with local residents

POLAND Ceetrus Polska is currently renovating its shopping centre portfolio as well as developing two projects.

A 77,000-sqm “retailtainment” centre is being built in Góraszka and the company is also planning its Wilanów Park mixed-use centre in Warsaw, which will comprise a 2 ha municipal park with a conservatory building to house additional stores, restaurants and leisure facilities. The project includes a hotel as well as office space and a cinema. Once the local zoning plan is changed, Ceetrus plans to consult with local residents on the final design. Renovations have recently been completed for three shopping centres including Auchan Bielany, Auchan Gliwice and Auchan Kołbaskowo. Work has also begun on Auchan Wałbrzych with the work to be completed this year.

Ceetrus has started placing electric car charging stations outside its malls through an alliance with Green Way as well as parcel lockers as a result of a deal with Inpost.

Last year Ceetrus signed 178 lease contracts with tenants across its portfolio including with a number of new brands including Tom Tailor, Bacca Scrittorini, Silcare, Z Dziada Pradziada and Zielona Krowa.

In 2019 Ceetrus also opened its 12,000 sqm Silesia Outlet centre next to its Auchan Gliwice in the spring spring and in July, DIY retailer Leroy Merlin announced that it was going to open a 10,000 sqm store next to the Auchan Kołbaskowo shopping centre.
