Ghelamco plans 43-storey tower
Another tower could soon sprout into the Warsaw skyline
POLAND Ghelamco is preparing to build a 43-storey tower next to the Warsaw Spire and has applied to the city for permission to construct an underground wall to protect the surrounding properties from the excavation work.

The building is to be constructed to the north of the Warsaw Spire skyscraper, next to the Bellona building, at the junction of ul. Grzybowska and ul. Towarowa. The local zoning plan allows for the construction of a 180m building with 50 floors. In December 2019, Ghelamco applied for a building permit for a complex that included a mixed-use office building with an underground car park, as well as the redevelopment of the Bellona building and the extension of a residential building with retail space on the ground floor at ul. Grzybowska 73. Both applications are still pending and so far Ghelamco will not comment on the new project.
