Atenor to replace UBC I
Grupa 5 has been entrucsted with the design of the building to replace UBC I
POLAND Atenor subsidiary, Haverhill Investment, has submitted a permit to knock down University Business Center building 1 (UBC I), which is to be replaced by the development of a modern 24,000 sqm office block.

The new building on ul. Szturmowa in Warsaw’s Mokotów district will also include a number of amenities such as a canteen, a café, childcare facilities and electric vehicle charging stations. The project has been designed with a highly advanced ventilation system to cut down on smog and air pollution and is to be BREEAM certified with an intended rating of ‘Outstanding’. Well certification is also to be applied for. The project has been designed by Grupa 5 and Atenor expects to receive the building permit this autumn with work scheduled to start on the demolition in April 2021. No changes are currently planned for University Business Center II (UBC II), which is the more modern building of the complex. It comprises a gla of 27,800 sqm and is fully leased to tenants that include Hewlett Packard Enterprise, HP Inc, DXC Technology, Emerson Process Management, Ashland Ingredients Poland. Atenor first announced its intention to demolish UBC I when it first entered the Polish market in March 2018.
