Orbis brings Tribe to Kraków

POLAND Polish hotel operator and developer Orbis is to buy a 595 sqm plot of land at ul. Worcella 6 in Kraków's old t willown for PLN 9.2 mln net.

Both parties to the deal have agreed that the preliminary deal is to be finalised no later than September 30th, 2020. The conditions set out in the preliminary agreement include the transferral of the site development conditions to Orbis as well as the task of demolishing the building currently standing on the plot.

Orbis intends to develop a hotel on it and on the adjacent plot at Worcella 8. It will eventually open as the Tribe Kraków Old Town hotel with 170 rooms, a restaurant, a coffee corner and bar, a fitness centre and a sauna. The hotel should be ready to open in 2022.

Orbis was recently sold by Accor to AccorInvest, a subsidiary of the same group.
