The first building is to eventually comprise 64,000 sqm, of which 14,000 sqm is being built in the first stage. Goodman is currently in advanced negotiations with two tenants for a total of 7,000 sqm. Eventually the park could provide around 500,000 sqm next to a DCT container port, which is also to be expanded so that it will be able handle 4 mln TEU containers and service ships of 18,000 TEU. If required new buildings in the park could apply to become bonded warehouses, where imported goods can be stored without clearing customs. Additionally, Goodman is prepared to support its tenants, if they choose to apply for the area to be designated as part of a special economic zone. The site also offers the possibility of a railway siding being built. The estimated cost to complete the project is EUR 300 mln.
