Work on Adventure World Warsaw begins

Construction
POLAND Imtech Polska, the general contractor for Adventure Park Warsaw, has entered the development site. The preparation and excavation work has started on the project, the investor behind which is Adventure World Warsaw Parks&Resort.
Currently temporary roads are being built and the existing buildings are being demolished. However, work on the actual construction of the facility cannot begin until a building permit is issued. Las Palm has applied for permits to build the Grand and Aqua hotels as well as an aqua park, while the permit applications for a theme park and an entertainment zone are ready to be submitted. “The first application to be processed will be for the redevelopment of the agricultural drainage and irrigation system, which is required to regulate water levels at the site before any construction work can begin,” explained Jacek Andrzejewski, a board member of Imtech Polska. “If our application is approved within the next few weeks and weather conditions permit, the redevelopment of the irrigation system will start this year,” he added. The opening of the park is planned for 2015.
