The grand opening of Q22 office building

Echo Investment has held the official opening ceremony for its Q22 skyscraper in central Warsaw. Q22 is located at the intersection of Al. Jana Pawła II and ul. Grzybowska and offers more than 50,000 sqm gla. The skyscraper was designed by APA Kuryłowicz & Associates together with BuroHappold Polska. The Q22 project, with investment costs of PLN 500 mln, began in December 2011 when Echo Investment bought the Mercure hotel for EUR 31 mln. The hotel was demolished in 2012 with general contractor Modzelewski & Rodek launching construction work on the new building in the following year. A EUR 116 mln loan to finance the construction was granted by Bank Zachodni WBK and PKO BP. The tenants in the Q22 skyscraper, the first of which moved into the building in late spring, include Deloitte (14,000 sqm), Grupa Allegro (7,600 sqm), Linklaters (4,500 sqm), William Demant (3,400 sqm), White & Case (2,500 sqm), OmniOffice (over 2,000 sqm), Boston Scientific Corporation (2,000 sqm), Citi Handlowy (1,000 sqm), Vestor Dom Maklerski (1,080 sqm), Bistro Office Group (600 sqm) and Puro Hotels (400 sqm).
