Ringo Starr sells mansion to Vítek

CZECH REPUBLIC/UK Radovan Vítek, the owner of CPI Property Group, has bought the Jacobean mansion in Surrey of Ringo Starr for an estimated price of around GBP 13–16 mln, according to ‘Forbes’.

POLAND In the last few months of 2014, the Wrocław branch of real estate brokers Kancelaria Brochocki (Brochocki i Biegański Nieruchomości) participated in the sale of a 5,500 sqm building at ul. Walońska 3-5 in the city as well as 950 sqm of offices in a building on ul. Wagonowa. The buyer of the latter was Best Coffee Systems (the exclusive distributor of the Franke espresso machines in Poland).

CEE REGION Two merging cement and aggregates suppliers Holcim and Lafarg aim to sell EUR 6.5 bln assets, including plants and other facilities, to the Irish building materials company CRH. These will include Holcim's assets in Hungary, Serbia and Slovakia, as well as Lafarge's properties in Romania.
