Robert Heinemann

Robert Heinemann has been appointed managing director HR & Corporate Services at ECE. He will succeed Dr. Lothar Kappich, who has reached the company’s predefined retirement age for a member of the management board. Heinemann will be responsible for the sections HR, IT, communication, legal, compliance, insurance, sustainability and internal services, and organizational development. Robert Heinemann joined ECE in 1999. He previously held the position of senior director center management where he was responsible for the operations of 120 centers in six countries, including Germany. He started his ECE career in the corporate communications section before transferring to the center management division as director. Heinemann was born in Hamburg in July 1974. He completed a vocational training as a bank clerk, earned a Diplom-Kaufmann (MBA equivalent) degree in business administration from Fern-Universität Hagen while working full time, and completed the advanced management program of Harvard Business School. Furthermore, Heinemann was member of Hamburg Parliament for eleven years.
