Edward Forst

Edward Forst has been appointed president and CEO and will join the firm effective from January 6th, 2014. Previously, he held the position of global co-head of the investment management division in Goldman Sachs, prior to which he was the company’s Chief Administrative Officer. He has also worked as an advisor to private investment firm Fenway Partners. Edward has more than 30 years’ experience working in international asset management, capital markets. He has held multiple executive positions in both New York and London at Goldman, Sachs, where he was elected Partner in 1998. During the financial crisis of 2008-2009, he was selected to be the first executive vice president and principal operating officer of Harvard University, leading its non-academic affairs and served as advisor to the secretary of the treasury of the United States. Edward is a graduate of Harvard University and holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
