Paweł Szymański

Paweł Szymański has been appointed vice-president of the company’s board. He replaces Sławomir Horbaczewski, who has decided to pursue his career outside the group. Paweł is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics. Between 1997 and 2003 he worked for Schroders and Citygroup in London. In 2003, after his return to Poland, he became the president of the board at the brokerage house of Bank Handlowy. From 2004 to 2007 he managed the financial division of PKN Orlen first as a board member and later as its vice-president. Between 2007 and 2008 he was vice president of CTL Logistics and later from 2010 to 2013 he was actively involved in the reorganisation of Ruch as the vice-president responsible for the financial affairs and later as president of the board. Recently he has worked as an advisor and representative of Marvipol’s management board. In his new position, he will be responsible for the financial division and will also supervise the investor relations and corporate communication departments.
