Marius Schöner

Marius Schöner has been appointed as country manager for Germany at CBRE Global Investors. Marius, who is joining the company from BlackRock, has over 19 years of European real estate experience. He worked for BlackRock from 2006, including his time with Macquarie Global Property Advisors (MGPA), which was acquired by BlackRock in 2013. As managing director, he built up a real estate portfolio with a focus on retail and managed a team of 13 people. Prior, he worked on setting-up Morgan Stanley's open-ended funds business as executive director in the company's fund management division. Beforehand, he worked for Deka Immobilien as director for European acquisitions and asset management, where he was responsible for building and managing a EUR 1.8 bln real estate portfolio. Marius will be based in Frankfurt.
