Spirited second attempt at Polish residential project
Villa Juliette will comprise 38 apartments
POLAND Villa Juliette, the construction of which has started in Warsaw’s Bemowo district, is to be the first residential project of French group Spirit in Poland.
However, the French company has already had some involvement in the Polish market. In 2010 it was planning to develop Villa Sekwana in Piaseczno, just south of Warsaw, but ultimately pulled out of the project. Spirit will carry out the current project through the Bemowo Drogomilska development company. “Spirit is one of the major French developers and investors. Over the 25 years of our operations we have developed many residential projects, office and logistics centres in some of the largest cities in France. For the last few years we have also been involved in development and investment activities abroad – in the United States, Morocco and Spain. We have also been monitoring Poland for some time, particularly Warsaw, and have been carefully analysing the market and clients’ expectations. We consider the capital of Poland to be a very attractive and promising place for development activities,” declared Jean Claude Bertojo, the president of the board of Spirit. The five-storey Villa Juliette will be built on a 900 sqm plot on ul. Drogomilska in Jelonki Północne. The building will offer 38 apartments with areas ranging from 37 sqm to over 77 sqm. Totalbud, the general contractor, has already started the initial work. The completion of the construction process is planned for Q4 2015. The designer of the building is the FAAB Architektura studio.
