Prologis to develop speculatively in Slovakia
Prologis Park Bratislava currently comprises 13 facilities

SLOVAKIA Prologis is planning to build a 21,140 sqm speculative warehouse at Prologis Park Bratislava.

The developer is aiming to “meet high demand from customers throughout the region,” the company has announced. The building, DC15, will be situated on a 22.6 ha plot that was acquired by Prologis in Q2 2016. It has a build-out potential of an additional 66,000 sqm. The land acquisition transaction was facilitated by Modesta Real Estate. As with all newly built Prologis facilities, the facility will be submitted for BREEAM accreditation. “Largely due to the park’s ideal location for companies operating throughout the CEE region and Austria and the continued high demand for the industrial space in this park, we are confident that this speculative building will attract new customers looking to grow their businesses,” commented Martin Baláž, the director of leasing and development at Prologis Czech Republic and Slovakia. Prologis Park Bratislava currently comprises 13 facilities totalling more than 320,000 sqm of manufacturing and distribution space. It is located 24 km east of Bratislava’s city centre, 2 km from Senec and 16 km from the international airport. Prologis is the leading provider of distribution facilities in Slovakia, with more than 520,000 sqm of logistics and industrial space (as of June 30th, 2016).
