Seven ‘my rooms’ in the city centre
POLAND The ‘My Room by Accorhotels’ concept has been introduced to the Novotel Warszawa Centrum in Warsaw.

The ‘My Room’ concept involves the designing of theme rooms by the hotel’s own staff. The competition for the designs was carried out under similar rules to those of a tender – with the designers having to stay within a certain budget. Hotel Novotel Warszawa Centrum on the Rondo Dmowskiego roundabout in the city centre now has seven ‘My Rooms’ (offered separately on the reservation system): ‘Fryderyk Chopin’, ‘the Palace of Culture’ (a design by two chambermaids who have been working for the hotel for around twenty years), ‘Coffee – a room with power’, a room for football fans, two folk-themed rooms, and a ‘Puzzle’ room inspired by trapped puzzle rooms (fortunately, it is easy to escape from this one) by Beata Rud-Chojnowska, the head of the room department at the hotel. Each of the rooms contains a snack or a surprise for guests, suited to the style of the room.
