HUNGARY DVM has won the tender to redesign the exterior and interior of Science Park in Budapest.

“We had the privilege to choose from several outstanding designs during the tender. The jury finally decided upon the excellent concept presented by DVM group because that was the one that best harmonized with the renewed image of the building and will be able to provide a modern, high-quality and humane working environment for our current and future tenants,” said Hajnalka Nagy, the project manager from Science Park. The winning DVM design strived to create a harmonious unity out of the environment planning, the interior design and the façade. Each garden area around the Buda office park will have a separate identity creating meeting points and recreational or work spaces. The greenery will help improve surroundings, but it is also of great importance for sustainability: the plantings will be located according to eco-requirements and will decorate the building in rotation all year round.

The interior will feature unique colours for the common spaces with new signs and reception areas helping with orientation within the buildings.

“Our concept is to improve the ‘user experience’ for the tenants as well as the image of the building using refined architectural means. We believe that smart design serves as a significant tool for successful communication,” said Tibor Massányi, the managing partner of DVM group. Science Park is BREEAM-In-Use certified with a rating of ‘Very Good’ and CBRE is the exclusive leasing agent.
