Park and ride... in central Poznań
The car park should come into use by the end of this year
POLAND Skanska has started work on the first Park & Ride car park in Poznań, at the junction of ul. Szymanowskiego and ul. Smoleńska in the city centre.
The general contractor is to carry out the work under the Design & Build formula was after being commissioned by local government company Poznańskie Inwestycje Miejskie. The project will involve the construction of 130 spaces for passenger cars, including six for the disabled, as well as covered areas for bicycle parking with repair facilities and an area for the possible city bike station in the future. Pavements, stairs and ramps are also to be built. The car park should come into use by the end of 2017.
