Two cranes to fly near Daszyńskiego roundabout
POLAND Herkules is to deliver 220-metre tower cranes to the building site of Skyliner in Warsaw. The company signed a contract concerning the matter with the contractor of the skyscraper – Warbud.
Hercules will provide one of its flagship units - Potain MD365B with a maximum height of lifting amounting to 219.1 meters (the tip of the crane will be located at the height of 232.25 meters, so it will only be less than 5 metres lower than the Palace of Culture and Science), which will be working for 22 months whereas earlier Hercules will hand over a temporary crane for five months. Hercules will provide a total of two cranes of the Potain MD365 brand and the MD238 brand, with a lifting capacity of 16 t and 12 t, including comprehensive service. The cooperation period will be app. 27 months and its value – PLN 3.4 mln. Skyliner is a project of the Czech developer Karimpol, it is located near ul. Towarowa and ul. Prosta in Warsaw. The skyscraper with a height of 195 meters will have an office area of 40,000 sqm. Users of the facility will be offered 42 floors (four other floors will be technical ones) and 21 lifts as well as a viewing centre at the height of 165 metres. It is another skyscraper construction project which involves Hercules’ equipment – in November the offer of the company was chosen for the Mennica Legacy Tower project with a height of 140 metres.
