POLAND Żabka Polska has moved into a 24,700 sqm warehouse facility in the MLP Gliwice logistics park.


Żabka Polska, the owner of the Żabka and Freshmarket grocery chains has moved into a 24,700 sqm warehouse facility in the MLP Gliwice logistics park. Almost 23,800 sqm is to be used for warehousing with around 4,000 sqm to be used for cold storage and freezers. The remaining space will be used for social and office purposes. “The owner of this convenience store chain is our first large tenant to move into MLP Gliwice. We are already in the process of negotiating more contracts for this logistics centre. We are convinced that its attractive location and the professional service offered will draw more companies interested in investing in this region”, said Piotr Krawczyk, the manager of BTS projects in MLP. MLP Gliwice is situated in Szałsza 6 km to the north of the centre of Gliwice near the A1 motorway and national highway 78. Eventually, three class A buildings with a total area of 65,000 sqm are to be built.
