Pradera signs 30 contracts
Nine leases have been signed in Homepark Janki
POLAND Pradera, which owns the Homepark chain of retail parks as well as the Domoteka centre in Warsaw, signed 30 leases including extensions in five of its centres: Homepark Targówek, Homepark Janki, Homepark Rawa, Homepark Franowo and Domoteka.

Rossmann and Świat Dziecka have extended their leases in Homepark Targówek in Warsaw. Other brands that will also remain in the centre are TK Maxx and Sports Direct. In the Domoteka interior design centre in Warsaw, 15 tenants have signed new contracts including lease extensions, which is around a quarter of the tenants in the centre, who now occupy an area of 3,600 sqm. Nine leases were also signed for stores in Homepark Janki. Cushman & Wakefield is responsible for the commercialisation of the entire portfolio, but BNP Paribas Real Estate is responsible for short-term leases in the centres, for which there has also been a lot of demand.

“The numbers speak for themselves: over three quarters of 2017 we signed lease extensions for over one quarter of Domoteka’s area and one fifth of Homepark Targówek. This makes us very optimistic for 2018 and subsequent years. Such good results are not only the result of the competence and experience of leasing companies, but above all because of our tenants’ trust. Their decisions to continue working with us are a clear signal that we have chosen the right development strategy for the new centres in our portfolio,” says Agata Brzezińska, the head of CEE at Pradera.
