POLAND Hot Spring Bay is to be built in Szczecin beside Dąbie lake and will include a hotel of the German Maritim chain.
In addition to a luxury hotel, Hot Spring Bay will include a modern marina connected to the sea by the lake and the Szczecin Lagoon. The complex is also to have a spa with hot spring water and a relaxation and catering zone. Geothermal energy is to be used throughout, making the project energy-efficient and environmentally friendly. The Chinese investor Tian Yu, which has its Polish office in Szczecin, is looking for co-investors. “Hot Spring Bay is a project combining real estate, construction, a hotel, tourism, sports, services, catering and other industries. We are open to proposals for collaboration in these areas during the creation of the hotel-apartment-recreational complex and during its operation,” the company has announced. The 3-3.5 metre-deep marina will be built by the Sun & Sail foundation and will include floating jetties with around two hundred moorings for 10-foot and 15-foot yachts. A 210-metre pier will be built on the north side and an 80-metre pier on the east side of the marina. Marina Dąbie will be open to the public and it will be a point of the West Pomeranian Sailing Route, which consists of almost 40 marinas from Gryfino to Darłowo.
