Rafał Ostrowski has over 17 years’ experience as a journalist. Before joining ‘Eurobuild CEE’ five years ago, he wrote for Wydawnictwo Murator and Shopping Centre Magazine, as well as for retailnet.pl. He has also written for many newspapers and magazines as a freelancer and prepared photo-reportages. Rafał graduated from the University of Warsaw in philosophy. He also completed postgraduate studies in text editing. For ‘Eurobuild CEE’ he covers most real estate sectors, including logistics, construction, office, residential and retail. He is also in charge of the film direction for Eurobuild TV.

POLAND Ronson Development signed sale contracts for 189 apartments in the first quarter of the year compared to 259 contracts in the same period last year.
Over the same period, the company handed over 301 apartments, just two less than last year, which was one of the best results in Ronson’s history.
“In terms of new contracts, we signed contracts on 189 apartments in the first quarter of this year, which is slightly less than in the same period a year ago, but was within our targets for 2018. We have achieved strongsales for our Warsaw projects including City Link in Wola and Miasto Moje in Białołęka, as well as for ourVitalia project in Wrocław and for Panoramika in Szczecin,” said Andrzej Gutowski, the director of sales and marketing at Ronson Development. The company’s share in the City Link I project is 50 pct, it has an 82 pctstake in the Espresso development in Wola, and owns all its other development projects outright.
The sales figures do not include the apartments in the Nova Królikarnia project in Warsaw’s Mokotów district,which is to be moved to the company’s portfolio in April 2018 on finalisation of the purchase contract signed with Global City Holdings at the end of March this year. Ronson is the current manager for the project. In the first quarter of this year contracts were signed for 16 apartments in Nova Królikarnia (compared with 14 for the same period of 2017).
At the end of Q1 2018, the company had 679 apartments on sale. The company is also planning to launch salesfor the Grunwald Kwadrat project on ul. Świerzawska in Poznań, where 268 apartments are to be built. Overall in 2018 Ronson plans to launch construction work on and apartment sales for six projects (including new stagesin existing projects) with a total of around 850 apartments.
