Go-ahead for Wola office building

Eurobuild CEE 10 April 2018
Go-ahead for Wola office building
Lixa is Yareal's biggest office project so far - a total of 65,000 sqm
POLAND Yareal has been issued with a building permit for the first stage of the Lixa office complex in Warsaw’s Wola district.

The construction work is to start following the demolition of Kredyt Bank’s former office building at the junction of ul. Kasprzaka and ul. Karolkowa, which should take place at the beginning of July. The first stage of the project has been scheduled for completion in mid-2020 and will involve the construction of two buildings: one housing the new headquarters of BGŻ BNP Paribas (22,000 sqm) and the other comprising 6,000 sqm of office space. The second stage will involve the construction of a 20,000 sqm building by 2021.

The final stage of the complex will see the construction of 17,000 sqm of office space by 2022. Lixa is to be the largest office project by Yareal to date. The complex will eventually comprise four office buildings with a total area of 65,000 sqm. The architectural design has been prepared by the HRA (Hermanowicz Rewski Architekci) studio. The project is to be certified under the BREEAM system.
