Rafał Ostrowski has over 17 years’ experience as a journalist. Before joining ‘Eurobuild CEE’ five years ago, he wrote for Wydawnictwo Murator and Shopping Centre Magazine, as well as for retailnet.pl. He has also written for many newspapers and magazines as a freelancer and prepared photo-reportages. Rafał graduated from the University of Warsaw in philosophy. He also completed postgraduate studies in text editing. For ‘Eurobuild CEE’ he covers most real estate sectors, including logistics, construction, office, residential and retail. He is also in charge of the film direction for Eurobuild TV.

Running for charity
POLAND More than 50 people took part in a 5 km run through the city of Warsaw in the second Blue Charity Run organised by Cushman & Wakefield.
The company donated PLN 10 for every kilometre completed by each runner, which with other contributions came to a total of PLN 4,000. Runners included the firm’s employees and representatives of the Mądre Główki charity. April is autism awareness month, for which Cushman & Wakefield organised the Blue Charity Run for the second year in a row to raise funds for the Mądre Główki Foundation and Integrated Kindergarten This year’s route ran past four checkpoints next to real estate developments owned by Echo Investment, Ghelamco, HB Reavis and Skanska. The starting line was at ul. Emilii Plater 53, right at the doorstep of the Lumen building, while the finishing line was at the Metropolitan building where Cushman & Wakefield also has offices. The checkpoints included Varso Place, which is currently under construction, Generation Park X at ul. Prosta 36, the neon sign “I love Warsaw” at Plac Europejski and the salesroom of Browary Warszawskie at ul. Grzybowska 52.
