White nights (and days) by Novotel
Novotel Archangel is the first AccorHotel to feature its 'N Room' concept
RUSSIA The AccorHotels group has opened Novotel Archangel, the most northerly Russian hotel in the network and comprising 89 rooms.

Novotel Archangel is situated in the Delta office complex and has been designed by Russian architect Mikhail Mamoshin. The interiors, which have been given a minimalist Nordic style, have been designed by the Sundukovy Sisters studio. The hotel is located on the banks of the river Dvina and features views of the river and the city. According to AccorHotels, the building is an excellent place for watching ships sailing to and from the White Sea and for admiring the ‘white nights’ (the theme of an artistic installation in the hotel lobby).

Novotel Archangel is the first hotel of the chain to be built and fitted out according to its new ‘N Room’ concept – the rooms come with ultra-comfortable beds, wider windows, 40-inch TVs, adjustable sofa beds and a large number of ports for various gadgets. Two rooms are also available specially designed for disabled guests. The hotel also offers two fully equipped conference rooms for a total of 110 people, a fitness centre with a swimming pool, a 24-hour business corner and a 400 sqm Reka restaurant. The Svetsky bar is open 24 hours a day.

The owner of Novotel Archangel and the Delta centre is Akvilon Invest, which is investing an estimated RUB 3 bln (app. EUR 40 mln).
