Foundation stone for Officyna
POLAND Torus has laid the foundation stone for the first stage of the Officyna office building, which is under construction in the Wrzeszcz district of Gdańsk. The building will deliver 5,200 sqm of leasable area to the market, including nearly 4,200 offices.

The building, which will have one underground floor and five above-ground ones, will be architecturally inscribed in the frontage of al. Grunwaldzka. Service outlets have been designed on the ground floor and there will be a terrace on the fourth floor. The project will also comprise parking infrastructure, including an underground car park as well as infrastructure dedicated to cyclists (changing rooms and parking spaces for bicycles). The building is planned to be put into operation in Q3 2019. “Officyna is another element of the development of al. Grunwaldzka in Gdańsk as the main business street, which is the location of numerous retail and office buildings. I believe that this office building will be appreciated by tenants, their employees as well as local residents. It will also provide another impulse to the rebirth of the district, which still has great investment potential,” says Sławomir Gajewski, the CEO of Torus. The project is certified in the LEED system. It currently has a pre-certificate at the Gold level. The second stage will involve the construction of a four-storey office building with an underground car park with a slightly larger leasable area deep inside the plot. Its construction is to start at the end of October. 11,000 sqm of leasable area will be developed in total in two project stages, including more than 9,000 sqm of offices. The design of the project was prepared by the APA Wojciechowski studio and its LEED consultant is VvS | Architects & Consultants.
