Orange wants to be smart
POLAND The 18th Orange Smart Store was opened in Centrum Marszałkowska (former Sezam department store) in Warsaw.
The store has 200 sqm which is divided into three zones: home, entertainment and company. There is also a service part. “We opened the first Smart Store in Warsaw in 2015. Today we have 18 such interactive showrooms in several of the largest Polish cities. We see that customers are happy to use them. On average Smart Stores are visited by twice as many people per month compared to traditional stores,” said Jean-François Fallacher, the CEO of Orange Polska. Orange Smart Store is a place where clients can settle matters related to the company's services but also test the devices and make necessary repairs. “It works so well that we also modernize smaller stores by introducing elements which are part of Smart Stores. Sezam is a unique place, our most modern store in the heart of Warsaw, offering the most advanced technologies and smartphones,” adds the head of Orange Polska. More stores in the Smart Store formula will be created in Kraków, Chorzów, Bydgoszcz, Toruń and Nowy Sącz this year. This means that every tenth of its own stores will be ‘smart’. Orange also modernizes smaller stores – more than 100 stores will gain the new image by the end of the year and all branches will be modernized by 2021.
