Blackstone set to buy Hines’ warehouses
A Hines-owned warehouse near Wrocław
POLAND Gemini Poland Holdco, which is owned by Blackstone, is poised to purchase five Polish logistics centres currently owned by Hines Global REIT.

An application for this transaction has been submitted to the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK). Hines owns more than a dozen logistics and warehousing centres across Poland.

According to information uncovered by ‘Eurobuild CEE’, facilities in Warsaw, Wrocław and Silesia are to be taken over by Blackstone. The sale of the five properties forms part of a larger transaction, which also includes five warehouse centres in Germany. The total value of the properties in both countries acquired by Blackstone comes to app. EUR 450 mln.
