HB Reavis has permit for another office tower
The tallest building in the Forest development will have a height of 120m

POLAND HB Reavis has been granted a building permit to construct the Forest office complex on a 2 ha site at ul. Burakowska 14 in Warsaw, which is to comprise a 120m office tower with adjacent buildings of six to eight storeys.

The architectural design by HRA Architekci includes a patio between the buildings, with mature trees and shrubs as well as a pond that can be used as an ice rink during the winter months. The design also includes an area for exhibitions and food pavilions as well as spacious balconies, loggias and rooftop terraces with community greenhouses for urban gardening, an outdoor gym and running facilities. The development will have a gla of around 78,000 sqm and will have restaurants, coffee houses and service outlets at ground level.

The project is to be built near the Arkadia shopping centre within a ten-minute walk of the Dworzec Gdański metro station. It is also near the Powązki railway station, which will soon provide a rail link to Warsaw’s Chopin Airport as well as to the city’s suburbs to the east of the river Vistula.

The Slovak developer has already started work on the diaphragm walls with its own subsidiary, HB Reavis Construction, acting as the general contractor. However, the start of the heavy construction work is dependent on the level of demand from future tenants. The complex should take 26 months to complete. The site was purchased in 2015 for EUR 17 mln.
