WORLD Colliers Proptech Accelerator powered by Techstars has selected the first ten start-ups that it is to invest in.

Richard Crook, the head of marketing, communications and business development for Colliers EMEA and one of the mentors for the programme, said: “We have carefully selected the startups for investment based on their approach to near-term, value-enhancing opportunities for our clients as well as longer-term opportunities that, with strong technology platforms, will help Colliers push industry boundaries. These three European startups are truly innovative and we hope that through this programme, we can help to accelerate their businesses to new heights.” At the end of the programme, each startup will present to investors and mentors at Demo Day on December 4th, 2018.

The ten technology start-ups selected are: A Retail Space, which finds the best business locations through big data analysis, Basking, which is an automated platform for the flexible office market, Booqed, which is a digital marketplace for flexible space, Lane, which is an operating system for a building, MapYourProperty, which is a Google Maps for real estate land development, Propstack, which predicts real estate trends through analysing big data, RefineRE, which uses big data to produce investment analysis, Raybased, which is an open wireless network for the real estate industry, SPCE, which provides student accommodation and Upsuite, a site for finding co-working space.

Colliers announced its partnership with venture capital firm Techstars in January in order to help promote technology within the real estate sector.
