CDRL warehouse completed
The new warehouse took nine months to build
POLAND CDRL, the owner of the Coccodrillo store chain, has completed the 9-month construction of a 3,700 sqm warehouse next to its headquarters south of Poznań in Kościan.
The building, which will be used for e-commerce, cost around PLN 6.5 mln to construct and an additional PLN 4.5 mln is to be invested in its equipment. “The project is our response to the growing online demand, both from Poland and abroad. With the new warehouse we will be able to manage our goods better. From now on our product range will be available throughout the year through all our distribution channels. Due to a lack of space up until now, we have only been able to offer clothes from the previous season,” says Marek Dworczak, the CEO of CDRL. The company's current strategy is to the expand its online sales to enter foreign markets and optimise its national retail channel. The Coccodrillo site is now published in a number of languages for the Polish, German, Austrian, Czech and Slovak markets. “Coccodrillo clothing has an international reach. We want it to be easily available to both customers in Poland and abroad. At the same time we are negotiating with other platforms, including the MyToys store, which is one of the most popular online toy stores in Europe. With the new hall we will be able to meet the logistics demands for this sector too,” he adds.
