Radissons to open in two historic locations
The five-star Radisson Royal Hotel Moscow is located in the former Ukraina Hotel

HUNGARY/RUSSIA Radisson Hotels Group has announced that it will be opening two hotels: in Moscow and Budapest.

The five-star Radisson Royal Hotel Moscow – formerly the Ukraina Hotel, one of the city’s neo-classical ‘Seven Sisters’ towers – is situated on the banks of the Moskva river. It is to open under its new brand in January 2019 and will offer 501 guestrooms as well as 19 bars and restaurants, an Olympic swimming pool, wellness and fitness facilities, conference and meetings rooms and its own fleet of ten cruise yachts.

In mid-2020, the group will also be opening the Radisson Collection Basilica on Szent István tér [St Stephen’s Square] in Budapest. This will offer 71 guest rooms and suites, a fitness centre, a restaurant, a lobby bar and a rooftop bar.
