CEE REGION Over the 2018 financial year, CA Immo leased a total of 230,000 sqm of in eight countries, of which 25 pct (app. 57,000 sqm) were preleases for projects under construction.

Excluding the preleases, signed lease agreements on around 14 pct of its total 1.2 mln sqm portfolio, with around 52 pct of the contracts being new leases. Office space accounted for more than 90 pct of the leased space.

Additionally a large amount of space was leased in Budapest and Bucharest. Altogether, more than 80,000 sqm were rented out in the two cities in 2018, including large leases to Vodafone and Thales Systems.

In Warsaw, lease agreements for around 20,000 sqm were signed in 2018, including a new lease with PGE Systemy at Warsaw Towers and extensions and expansions with PZPN and EOS at Bitwy Warszawskiej Business Center.
The Polish portfolio is now 96 pct leased (while in Germany and the Czech Republic the figure is 99 pct).
"Showing an occupancy rate of around 96 pct, our eight office properties in Warsaw are as good as fully leased. With the recent acquisition of Warsaw Spire Buildings B and C, we complemented our top-tier tenant base and added two high-quality landmark properties in the new commercial hub of Warsaw to our core portfolio and, at the same time raised the profile of CA Immo as one of the biggest landlords in Warsaw,” said Andrzej Mikolajczyk, the head of CA Immo Poland.
