POLAND Port Praski is planning to start construction work on a quay as part of the Port Praski project in Warsaw and has appointed a consortium of Porr and Keller to complete the work.
An architectural competition is also soon to be announced for four residential buildings and one office block in the dock area next to the company’s Stara Praga district, which it is currently being developed and should be completed by 2022. The first five buildings in the docks are to be built along ul. Wrzesińska and ul. Zamoyskiego. However, this stage of the project is currently blocked because the necessary environmental permits have not yet been awarded.

A lock is also under construction at the entrance to the dock. For many years the developer had been unable to come to an agreement with the local authorities for it to be built until the case was taken to the administrative courts. The project is being developed on a 38 ha site.
