POLAND TDJ Estate has started the construction of the first stage of its Pierwsza Dzielnica residential development in the centre of Katowice.

The project will comprise three 12-storey buildings integrated with a common service ground floor. The general contractor for the first stage of the project, Chemobudowa-Kraków, should complete the construction work in Q3 2021.

“After many months of preparation, we are launching the construction of Pierwsza Dzielnica. (...) This is the first such a large residential project to be carried out in the centre of Katowice for years,” announced Maciej Wójcik, the managing partner of TDJ Estate.

Three twelve-storey buildings with a total of 265 apartments are to be built in the first stage of the project. More than a half will be large (three- and four-room) apartments ranging from 59 sqm to 95 sqm. The largest are to be located on the uppermost floors (level +12) and will range from 102 sqm to 235 sqm. The residences also include studios (from 28 sqm) and two-room apartments of an average of 43 sqm. The buildings in the first stage will be connected by a ground floor retail/services area with 13 units.

A two-storey underground car park is also to be built with spaces for 292 vehicles and electric car charging stations. In addition to all this, three common rooms will be exclusively available to the residents: a laundry room, a lounge and a co-working zone. The Medusa Group is responsible for the architectural design and visual identification of the project.
