Galeria Chełm rises from the ground
Galeria Chełm is the first development of Belgian company Equilis in Poland
POLAND General contractor Karmar has almost completed the structural work on the Galeria Chełm shopping centre in eastern Poland.

The mall is being jointly developed by Acteeum Group and Belgian developer Equilis next to the Chełm bypass at the junction of ul. Lubelska and ul. Rejowiecka with the building scheduled for delivery in Q1 2020. “Galeria Chełm will be the first shopping centre in our Polish portfolio and we want to provide the people of Chełm and the surrounding area with a place that they can identify with,” comments Monika Woźniak-Zawioła, the managing director of Equilis in Poland. “The centre is more than 85 pct leased,” adds Tomasz Szewczyk, the managing partner at Acteeum Central Europe. Galeria Chełm will comprise 55 retail outlets over 17,500 sqm gla and will have a car park with over 550 spaces. The tenants will include Lidl, CCC, Smyk, Rossmann, RTV Euro AGD, Martes Sport, Reserved, Sinsay, House, Cropp, Home & You, Diverse and Pepco.
