Ülemiste now bigger and better
The Ülemiste shopping centre now has an area of 125,000 sqm
ESTONIA The Ülemiste shopping centre has reopened after extension work was completed by Linstow Center Management adding 13,000 sqm to the centre in an investment of EUR 36 mln.

The centre now has an area of 125,000 sqm. "The expansion of the Ülemiste Centre has been an exciting challenge for us. We are pleased to announce that everything went to plan, and we have been able to open our doors to our customers," says Linstow Center Management CEO Frode Gronvold. "Linstow Center Management is very proud with the opening of a state-of the-art and future-oriented shopping and entertainment centre. The trump card for the Ülemiste Centre is that we can offer the widest selection of high-quality stores, excellent services and an enjoyable shopping environment."

The country’s largest mall is anchored by an Apollo cinema with six screens. "We are pleased to have opened our ninth Apollo Cinema in Estonia with a completely new seating concept, a high-quality restaurant, and our first theatre stage, the Apollo Theatre," says the CEO of Apollo Cinemas in the Baltic States, Kadri Ärm. "Estonians have remarkable interest in visiting the cinema, and that is one of the main reasons for opening another venue in Estonia. We have seen growth in cinema admissions year by year."

The centre also includes an O'Learys entertainment centre with a bowling alley, a Tranpolino trampoline park, a Vapiano restaurant, a Pet City pet shop with an in store veterinary clinic, a grooming centre and a pet hotel. This is the third extension of the centre and the design was by AMB International and Novarc Group , while Joonprojekt was responsible for the interior design.
