Poczta Polska moves pallets to Grodzisk Mazowiecki

Opr./edited AZ 09 September 2019

POLAND The Polish Post [Poczta Polska] is moving its domestic and international pallet services from Warsaw to a new centre in Grodzisk Mazowiecki where it has leased a hall of over 5,000 sqm.

More space is to be freed up at the Warsaw sorting centre for parcels, the volume of which continues to grow. Over the past five months Poczta Polska has seen a significant increase in demand for parcel delivery services, while its new international pallet shipment service, which it launched on February 1st this year, is also growing quickly. The company is targeting a doubling in its parcel delivery revenues by 2023 and estimates that the market for courier, express and parcel shipments will be worth PLN 10 bln in four years, growing at around 10 pct per year.

“Our experience and logistic capabilities make us one of the key logistics operators in Poland that can offer services along the entire supply chain. This is why it is important for us to invest in our service centres to guarantee improvements in our customer service,” says Paweł Przychodzeń, the deputy CEO of Poczta Polska for logistics.
