Greener and more colourful offices for Unibep
The finishing work took six months
POLAND Industrial elements and an abundance of greenery are the stand-out features of the new offices of construction firm Unibep and its residential developer Unidevelopment. Tétris, which fitted out the new headquarters of the group, has created comfortable areas to encourage relaxation.

Tétris, which fitted out the new headquarters of the group, has created comfortable areas to encourage relaxation. The large amounts of greenery in the interior gives the offices a relaxing character. “We wanted to create friendly working conditions. You can see a lot of natural greenery everywhere in the offices,” says Danuta Barańska, the creative director of Tétris, which came up with the design for the 2,200 sqm of offices using the design-and-build approach. Brightly coloured carpets have been laid, while the space has been given an industrial character with ceiling installations painted in graphite tones. Concrete and metal hanging lamps have been installed in several places along the walls. Decorative acoustic panels made of Ecophon wool have also been added. The play of light is very important –natural colours have been used for the workstations, while warm colours surround the greenery. Colours have also been used to separate the work zones for individual departments. Colourful floor coverings have been laid leading to the kitchens, the meeting rooms and the offices. The finishing work took six months.
