Health and safety of the future

Opr./edited AZ 18 November 2019
POLAND The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work [EU-OSHA] claims that more jobs will be performed by sedentary workers in the future and the rates for obesity cardiovascular disease and diabetes are likely to increase increase.

The number of self employed are also likely to increase and will therefore not be covered by labour protection laws. With the rise of the internet of things and artificial intelligence many people are likely to lose control of their own data. According to the EU-OSHA new guidelines need to be drawn up by academia and industry to protect workers in the face of rapid technological change in the workplace.
